Linda Roeser enjoys working at McDonald's Assessment of skills and interests, mastery of interview techniques, computer proficiency and extensive training and supervision are aspects of ARC’s Career Services Division. Businesses and industries throughout Rockland County sing the praises of employees hired through ARC. Whether it is the food service industry, retail and manufacturing, maintenance or office work, there is a job waiting for the right person, and the right person is ready for the job.

ARC of Rockland’s professional Job Coaches accompany employees on the job for as long as is necessary to ensure that work is completed to the employer’s satisfaction. ARC arranges for transportation to and from each work site as necessary. Punctuality, efficiency, responsibility and a positive attitude are bywords when it comes to workers with intellectual and other developmental disabilities hired through ARC. Justin Morales enjoys his job at North Rockland High School Employment training and job placement are offered at two locations: ARC Career Services in Congers, New York and ARC Careers in Pearl River, New York. Eligibility requirements vary with each of the two program sites.
