Hudson Valley Comprehensive Healthcare (HVCH) is a regional leader in healthcare and medical services for individuals of all ages and abilities. Our expertly trained, compassionate providers and staff take a comprehensive approach to patient care.

In this multidisciplinary practice, our medical team gives the time and expertise necessary to ensure that each patient is treated with skill, compassion and dignity.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Medical Practice Physician is responsible for the delivery of quality health care and service in accordance with generally accepted standards of professional practice by providing outpatient services for the prevention, diagnosis or treatment of disease, pain, injury, deformity or physical condition for our patients.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education: M.D. or equivalent. Physician licensed by and currently registered with the New York State Education Department, specializing in Family Practice.

Minimum Experience: Qualified by training and experience to provide primary medical care and oversight to the practice. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a physician required.

Required Certification/Registration: NYS licensure and current registration as a physician. DEA registration current.

Hourly rate: $125-170

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Conduct patient assessments and evaluations.

· Deliver quality health care through proper diagnosis and treatment of medical practice patients.

· Provide appropriate and timely follow up, documentation and communication with medical practice patients and/or family members while complying with all state and federal regulations.

· Assist in the provision of after-hour coverage for Clinic patients and/or family members.

· Adhere to the code of ethics of the American Medical Association or applicable professional association as well as the guidelines set forth in the Medical Staff By-Laws.

· Familiar with and adhere to all HIPAA related policies and procedures safeguarding the protected health information (“PHI”) of all patients.

· Provides consultation for Nurse Practitioner(s) via a Collaborative Practice Agreement as necessary

· Other duties and responsibilities as required
