Arc HealthResources is a multidisciplinary medical practice, specializing in the care of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our medical team gives the time and possesses the expertise necessary to ensure that each patient is treated with skill, compassion and dignity. We offer an array of services including: Primary Care, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) will render psychiatric, medication management & coordination of care services. The PNP works under a Collaborative Practice Agreement with the Psychiatrist.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality health care through proper diagnosis and treatment of patients, utilizing evidence-based medicine and standards of care.
• Provide adequate and appropriate follow up, documentation and communication with patients, family members and support staff while complying with all State and Federal regulations.
• Assist with development of an organizational and administrative structure that assures adequacy and quality of care.
• Adhere to and enforce all, State and Federal guidelines related to patient care and corporate compliance.
• Communicate any changes in treatment immediately with residential managing staff
• Discuss any difficult to manage symptoms or therapeutic side effects with Medical Director.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

Job Requirements

• Certified and Registered as a Nurse Practitioner By NYSED
• 2 Years' experience in an outpatient setting with the population served
