I started with The Arc as a Direct Support Professional, with little experience in the field and was soon promoted to Assistant Manager and several years later to Residence Manager. Working directly with the people we serve and with the help, support and guidance of my supervisors and coworkers I have gained much experience over the years.  I enjoy making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. I hope to continue doing so for many more years to come.

The work at The Arc Rockland is very rewarding. The people we support are very receptive to everything I have to offer. We are helping them be independent and productive. We get them out into the community to pursue their goals, including taking college courses. We all work together as a team. Management is also very supportive and works to ensure that I have the tools I need to do my job to the best of my ability. We share a common purpose here. Recently after coming back from vacation, I had the feeling I was coming home.
